"Soft clay is the material I love and it offers never ending possibilities of shapes and surfaces.
While I lived in Germany the making of large wall sculptures like eroding rocks was most important to me to still my thirst for nature and to show the ongoing process of change.
Since I found a new home in New Zealand I am surrounded by the most beautiful nature. Nikau Palms, the ocean waves and ripples in the sand as well as waterfalls and gentle trickles of streams are my inspiration.
The pottery wheel is my favorite tool at the moment to create very thin, translucent porcelain lamp shades and a variety of unique tableware designs."
